The Zaandam was honored to host the 2012 graduating class from Haines High School in Haines, Alaska, on May 23. Culinary Operations Manager Cliff Strerath took the class on a tour of the ship, showing them our beautiful public areas. The class was also treated to a fabulous lunch in our Lido Restaurant. The tour included our officers and crew sharing interesting stories of their world travels and insight about what it’s like to work aboard a cruise ship. The Zaandam is privileged to be considered a part of the Haines community. As much as our guests love visiting this incredible port, our team enjoys our close connection to the residents of this lovely town. The President of the class of 2012 sent a thoughtful note of thanks following the tour.
