They’re at it again! The glamorous dancers and stars of the “Dancing With the Stars: At Sea” theme cruises are currently underway on ms Westerdam in Alaska and have been sharing the scenery both onboard and ashore via social media.

The ship set sail from Holland America Line’s homeport of Seattle Saturday, July 27, with calls scheduled at Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan, Alaska; a day of scenic cruising through Glacier Bay and a call at Victoria, British Columbia. Along the way the dancers are heating things up in the Land of the Midnight Sun with dance lessons, fitness classes and fashion shows.

The fashion show is always a highlight of the cruise, as well. The ladies, including Emma Slater and Anya Fuchs, head to the Lido Deck decked out in the latest dance fashions to wow the crowds. As you can imagine there is a lot of excitement and plenty of sequins as these world-class dancers make their way around the deck full of glitz and glamor.

Craig Zabransky of the blog Stay Adventurous was there and shared this quick Vine video post of Emma Slater smiling and hamming it up for the guests:

Of course, the dancers aren’t the only source of beauty on this fabulous cruise. Alaska is all around and guests and stars alike are under its spell. Glacier Bay National Park is especially beautiful and is an all-day scenic affair. As the ship cruised slowly through Glacier Bay everyone hit the deck to look for wildlife and calving glaciers. The stars were no exception! Tristan MacManus and two of the professional dancers in the “DWTS: at Sea” troupe, Brent Borbon and Kiki Nyemchek, were happy to take in the view.

  1. What will be the entertainment on the Alaska cruise on September6-13 on the Westerdam. Will Dancing with the Stars at sea be on this cruise? What other entertainment is on this cruise. My Mother wants to know if there are dance hosts.

  2. Brenda, DWTS activities are on ALL sailings. You can take part in dance classes and perhaps compete to earn a spot on the Champions Cruise. This is not a DWTS theme cruise, but you can still enjoy Dancing with the Stars: At Sea.

  3. When are the dance classes scheduled? I plan to take some of the excursions that I will book this week and I would appreciate knowing the schedule for the classes so they won’t overlap. Thanks!

  4. Brenda, it varies. I don’t think they scheduled them during tours while at port. But once onboard, please verify this at the tour desk.

  5. I was on the Oosterdam July 20th through 26 and in the Dance Finals. Is there a way to get a video of the performance?
